Cool New here

Greetings, im new here and im also 16. My car is a 92 Camaro RS V6 5spd, stock pretty much. Next winter plans are an LSx/T-56 swap.

Just curious isn't the cost of that swap costly, and worth while to just get rid of the v6 and picking up a v8 based? I have seen alot of chat about the cost of swapping vs buying mentioned alot.

If you love 3rd gens, then no... there's no point in buying a car with a 305 if you want an LSx. LSx into a 3rd gen is a really popular swap.

4th gens, especially 98-02 4th gens, are a different story.

around 3k-10k depending on the engine, the 5.3L are cheap swap. I love thirdgens, my favorite generation. Not tryin to piss you 1st, 2nd or 4th gens off. IMO the v6 is the easyest to swap an LSx into, the engine will rise the front end by inch or two, compared to the V8 which is more.
