Re: New guy

I don't own a camaro but my brother does. He has a 69 Z. He is converting it from an automatic to a 4 speed and wants to know if there is an exact location for the hole for the shifter, as in distance from the fire wall, size of hole ect. He and a friend are also involved in the restoration of a 69 COPO. If anyone has info. or websites I'm sure they would like to here about it.

Re: New guy

Hello, if you do a search in the transmission forum for "shifter hole", I believe there is a drawing somewhere that gives the dimensions you are looking for.
Welcome to the site and have fun.
