Hi everyone. I'm new to the boards. Although I currently do not own a Camaro, I have pretty much been around them all my life, and grew up in a GM family (my grandfather worked at the Tonawanda Chevrolet plant working on engines pre- and during the muscle car heyday--he was always a big fan of the 396.) I've finally gotten to the point that I am (barely) able to afford a muscle car, so I'm finally living out a life-long dream.
I am currently restoring a '68 Oldsmoble 442, but have decided to get a bit of a start on my next project. As I probably will never be able to own a real '69 COPO Camaro, I figured I could start with the engine block and slowly build one up piece by piece until I have one that looks like an original sleeper COPO, so I have a bunch of questions that I'll place in the appropriate areas here on the boards.
In any event, it's good to be on here.
