Rookie here with Prostreet 68

Hello folks

I'm not new to the Camaro scene but I am new to my dream car, the first gen Camaro. I recently traded my C5 Corvette for a 1968 Camaro. I also have a 1997 Camaro SS that serves as my "fast car." I'll post some pictures of both, you guys might appreciate the 97 as well. I've been lurking for a few days and have already learned a TON about my car from the site. I looked at some other 1st gen forums, but Team Camaro is where it's at!

The 68 is nice, but nowhere near done. I got it from the owner of a reputable body shop, which is where the car is currently at, receiving it's nice new paint (Hugger Orange with white stripes.) I'll try to remember some of the specs.

Fresh 468 (pumpgas friendly), has a HUGE cam, but not sure of the specs
200r4 Trans with manual lockup
3500 stall
Narrowed 9" with 3:73 gears and a spool
fuel cell and battery in trunk
Wilwood 4 wheel disc brakes
serpentine belt system
power steering
power windows
RS grille with electric hideaway headlights
Painless wiring harness
ididit tilt column
Corbeau reclineable, sliding seats
Autometer gauges
adjustable coilovers in the rear
3" exhaust with H-pipe and race mufflers turned down
Has 4" Harwood hood but I have a 6" on the way (4" is for sale)
I'm sure there's more, just can't remember right now

The car is currently being painted. All bodywork will be completed as well, including stretched quarters. I hope to have it home by mid-february or so. I'll be swapping the wheels out for Prostars ASAP.

Here are a few pictures:

Welcome to Team Camaro. There alot of nice guys and information on this site. There is also a prostreet forum under protouring. It is in small letters below it. I guess we are the step child.
