Smile My Second new Camaro

Hello, been a member over at Team Chevelle for years but about 2 weeks ago I bought a new 2010 Camaro so thought I should join here too. This is my second Camaro, as I bought a 94 Z28 brand new back in fall 93. I also just sold my 04 vette in the spring and decided to go back to the Camaro to have back seats for my three boys all under age 6. So far really enjoying the new car. I am located up here in western Canada. Here are some pics.

Well the ride sure looks great Nature dude. So how does it run ? Can it outrun a 1st gen with a big block ? I always wanted to know. How about showing us that engine ! Welcomes indeed ! What a ride !

Re: My Second new Camaro

Took it out with my G-tech accelerometer the other day on my test strip. Got a 13.5 and about a 5.0 0-60 out of it with serious tire spin. With traction probably much better. But lots of fun! Much quicker than my 94 was that is for sure. Feels close to my 04 vette I had.

Nice! I love this blue too! May I have your permission to paint my '69 Camaro this same color?

Re: My Second new Camaro

Yes, There are only two aqua blue 2010's in Canada and this is one of them and they can't order them for 2010 anymore. I didn't believe the sales manager and made him prove it to me. His computer showed the other one in Ottawa and this one. Then he showed me how if he tries to pick aqua blue to order a car it won't let him.

What does that mean? Nothing really other than there won't be dozens of these driving around like red or black. My brother has a 69 SS in an aqua blue with white strips and it looks great. And I always buy BLACK cars, for once I needed a change. Mind you if the car was black with white stripes instead of silver stripes I might have gone for it.
