Greetings guys and gals,
New to this post. What got me to register is the story I was reading about the owner of the T-bucket w/an original '67 Camaro 302 engine. As was mentioned about the power of the internet and what it lead to in reuniting the owner with the engine got me to wonder about a '72 350 Z-28 engine with the M-21 Muncie that I bought a few years ago. The guy I bought the motor/tranny from said he once owned the car but due to finances had to sell the body. If my memory still serves me, I believe he mentioned that he had an engine fire which resulted in the engine coming out. When he owned this car, I think he was living in North Houston at the time. While I plan to use this engine, it does make you want to possibly locate the car to see if the individual is interested in the original drivetrain. I will have to acquire the stamped numbers off of the pad, again, as I once had them to look up the codes which stated that it is an original Z motor. If anyone knows of a '72 Z looking for its original powerplant, let me know.
