1967 headliner question

I have a 1967 Camaro RS that i am trying to find out some info on the headliner rod holes.

when i bought the car the rods for the headliner were removed and now i am trying to install my new rods with the headliner and asking to see if anyone can tell me which of the three holes the rods go in or is it just trial and error. any help would be appreciated Thanks again

I have a 67RS, all original, with the headliner out (old one rotted out).

The ceiling rods are still hanging in their original slots (with a little fabric attached).

Haven't gotten to the interior restoration, be happy to take a few pictures and send them via email if you'll forward your email address offline.

Give me a day or two to get them to you.

Use the search feature, and look for headliner rods or bows. There is a posting that describes which length rods go into which holes. Regardless of what everyone says (I know not everyone is going to agree with this either), the original hole locations don't matter, unless you are putting the original headliner back in. When you purchase a new headliner, you have changed all of the dimensions, so you have to figure it out as you go. But you can usually tell which holes were the original locations if you look at them very closely and see where the 'wear' marks are. If you doubt, I would use a lower hole, either forward or back.
