Hi I am removing the intake manifold on my 95 Camaro Z28, and the gas line disconnect tool does not seem to work. Do I have to relieve the pressure first, or is that just a safety and environmental issue ?

Re: howzjon

The tool may not be long enough, you do need to rotate the tool, reliveing pressure
is a good thing, fuel in your eyes is not fun.

Re: howzjon

Thanks John 68

The tool clicks when it goes in but, although the connection slides back and forth it, doesn't separate.
I just read in the Haynes manual that twisting the connection should help release the gas line. Will try that Monday and let you know if it works.
