A little more about the car, I purchased from the second owners family. The original owner was a Dean (or something like that) at a college in Utah and they lived part of the year in Salt Lake and the rest in Belgium, and kept this car here, hence the low miles. The second owner worked as a house keeper for them. Anyhow, it is fun to look at all of the original paperwork, some of which I'll post on a forum later to share. I have the original order form where they checked the options that they wanted. Funny thing is, the car was ordered with a 350 but was delivered with a 396! I'd call that luck! Ordered as a stripper SS. 68 SS BB, Auto, power drum brakes, no rear spoiler, no drip rail trim, rear defrost, and clock in the console. Hubcaps (tri bar style) and whitewalls (i am going to put redlines on it with the original hubcaps) Only 1 repaint.
Anyhow, here are a few as purchased pics.
This one shows more firewall markings and you can see the factory motor mount fix with the bracket and cable. I need to find an original style Air injection manifold for the driver's side.
