1969 Camaro RS Convertible Project Car

I'm new to this forum and hope to get some great info. My son and I have purchased a 1969 Camaro RS Convertible. It's pretty much original and running but as expected needs various repairs, replacements, etc. We've had good luck on locating parts and making some major and minor repairs.
We found that the front bumper was not assembled properly and cannot find a good exploded view of the parts and assembly of same. I have purchased 2 repair and restoration books but no luck on front bumper views for this year Camaro??
Hope someone can get us there.

Jim welcome to Team Camaro (TC). Be sure your book collection includes the AIM Assembly Instruction Manual which will have exploded drawings of most all of your car. Its available at many of our site sponsors and ebay and resto parts places that carry camaro stuff.
Feel free to hop into our various sections with your questions as they arise and the 'search' button will find alot of answers without waiting for someone to reply too.

Re: 1969 Camaro RS Convertible Project Car

Welcome. Here's an imploded view. There are 6 total brackets for the front bumper. The two center connections get 2 brackets each, an inner and an outer. The inner bracket bolts to the outside of the subframe horns, and the outer bracket bolts to the outside of the inner. The bumper itself bolts to the outer bracket. The 2 corner brackets bolt to the fender extension.
