Hello everyone, I thought I would introduce myself here. I have been a lurker for a long time but now that I actually have some questions to ask I thought I should say hello. My name is Eric and I have a 67 Camaro that has been in my family since 1967
It was my first car ever and I have slowly, and I do mean slowly been working on getting it to be a fun driver. The car was originally a 6 cyl. It has been sitting for 10 years with no love and it's finally time to give the old girl some new life.
So far I have built a small block 400 with the help of my uncle, redone the interior and am in the process of doing body work and paint and suspension. At the moment I am converting drum brakes on the front to disc brakes that I pulled off a 1969 Chevelle SS. The drums are the reason I stopped driving her in the first place. She just wouldn't stop...
Good times to be had. I am not a billionaire, so this will definitely be a budget build for now.
This is the list of things I would like to get done here in the near future(i.e. this year!):
Disc Brakes - in progress
ALuminum Body Mounts - Need to order from Speed Tech
Hotchkiss Subframe Connector - Need to order
SPC Upper Control Arms - In the mail
12 Bolt Rear - Nee more Money...
Upgraded Rear Suspension- Not sure how I want to do this yet?
Anyhow, I hoe to meet some cool people on here and I have already learned a ton from Mr Pozzi's site on first gen Camaro's. Good stuff!
