New and Searching

Hello, I'm new here. I live in Honolulu and want to buy a 69 Camaro Convertible RS and maybe SS with houndstooth interior, and orig console gauges. #'s do not need to match. I plan to ship it here. I have looked at a few but found rust underneath and I can't have that out here. I also am looking at one on craigslist Sacremento where the guy says it's an X11 RS and can be an SS with some minor changes but the motor is a #'s matching 350-255hp.
I thought SS's had only 350-300's for the small block. Can someone look at this ad and tell me if he is correct about the 10% of X11's are SS's. Also, let me know if you know of a car for me to buy. I have scoured the internet and am not having great success. There are a few out there but they always seem to be missing something.

Re: New and Searching

Yes that car is for sale here at, the car is a Rally Sport and advertised as a SS clone. X11 could be be a SS most people would not know the difference.

There are not many real RS/SS convertibles for sale, unless you buy a Z11 Convertible.
