Smile New 1969 RS Convertible Owner (currently also an SS clone)

LeMans Blue, Black Houndstooth - totally restored. 350 LT-1 conversion with 700 automatic transmission.

But, like every car I've owned, 'it's not quite finished yet'...

Looking forward to lots of great advice here.

needs:

> Change 17" TT2 polished wheels for something else period correct looking in 17", but chrome - I hate polishing wheels (and with some offset)
> Change 'comfort grip' steering wheel to something else leather or wood (but not 16" around)
> Leave it an SS clone? or take it back to an RS? (but it has a cowl induction hood). Or, also, love Yenko-looking stripes in 'flat black' on LeMans blue - but don't know if I'd have the nerve to do 'flat black' Rallye stripes over the top?? that would be going in a totally rest-mod direction...

Welcome, Don.
What you do with the car is up to you. A 'vert, with the flat black side stripes is different.

I was actually wondering about 'flat black' Rallye/Z28 stripes over the top...

It would look nice, but, don't wax the flat paint. I don't believe you'll never get the haze wiped off.
