New TX member - 1st Gen Camaro
Hello to everyone. I'm going to date myself here and say that I was lucky enough to have owned original 1st & 2nd Gen camaros back when they were new. Unlucky though, in that I eventually sold them all for something else. Then went racing (quickest way to turn money into noise). Now, after decades have passed, I've decided I need something to occupy my time & devour my money again. Golf is too slow & too frustrating, so classic car retoration seemed like the logical fit for an old car guy.
I recently purchased a 69 Camaro coupe, 350/350 SS tribute car. About 90% restored. So I'm going to take full advantage of this community since it has an awesome collection of knowledgeable members.
I live in Garland TX, and have already identified my local Camaro parts/info treasure site (thanks Patty, Floyd & company - Firewheel Classics). Now I'm ready to have some fun!
