Re: Hey guys

Welcome to TC! - would like to see some pics of your '67 when you get a chance to post them.... Is it a project car, if so what are your plans? Not sure about WA, but in NSW the unregistered vehicle inspection for rego (blue slip) is not very onerous - just looking for things like an outside mirror on passenger side as well as driver's side, seatbelts to build date standards, headlights that dip down and to the left, etc. QLD (and maybe other states) have more demanding requirements, and from memory you have to have a compliance plate fitted in the engine compartment somewhere.
Anyway, Good Luck and see you around.

Re: Hey guys

Welcome to TC . Very nice car.
Waiting for mine to be shipped shortly. How long did your import approval take to be approved?

Cheers

That is a good looking car! Did you have any dramas with DoTaRS? I've heard some shockers about guys buying cars and then applying for IA only to get knocked back for the car being "non-standard".... I guess it depends on who you get reviewing your application, but when I was looking to import a '69 I emailed them to ask specific questions regarding aftermarket mag wheels, 400 SBC, etc etc and after 3 months they replied to say they couldn't comment without an Import Approval application. So luckily I found a car already here in Aus!
