First time Muscle car owner from the UK

Hi guys.

I have just bought my first muscle car and am about to embark on a pro touring project.

Thought I would say hello and post pics of how the car is now

Welcome, Amit. Nice ride indeed.
Still an R12 equipped A/C system, but apparently, does not work, no belt on the compressor.
Internally regulated alternator, good.

Give a man a rescued dog for the health of both their souls. May 2017 ROTM Winner - Thank you!

Re: First time Muscle car owner from the UK

I am in the out skirts of london, and there are a reasonable amount of muscle cars and hot rods about.

There is a local meet every couple of months that has around a 100 or so cars show up.

I found this one on good old ebay, already imported into the UK in 2007

I have always been a classic VW man, but always loved american muscle.

Finally bit the bullet.

Yes it certainly does turn heads.. you certainly dont see cars like these on the road every day.

Re the air, correct its not working at the moment. Havent looked into it to see if there is a problem, but I will probably just junk it and get a vintage air system.

My plan is to build a something of the level of the Ring brothers Razor.

I have ordered a 6pot brake kit from progidy customs. Just looking for a reasonable way to get the kit shipped over.

Next on the list will be ride tech suspension, LS2 engine, Roti form wheels and serious amounts of body work

Big Welcome to Team Camaro Amit! Nice ride. That's about on par with owning a '64 XKE or '61 A-H 3000, here. Still regret selling both of them.

Both optimists and pessimists contribute to society. The optimist invents the automobile, the pessimist seat belts, head rests, disc brakes, and air bags.
