Hi from California Bay Area

My names Andy. 17 years old. About 6 or 8 months ago, I fell in love with first generation camaros. Don't have one, but I'm hoping I'll have one someday.

My dream Camaro would be a 67 SS396, four on the floor, black with white stripes, and the hideaway lights.

Just thought I'd say hello after joining.

Oh, I am.

I found a 67 with a rebuilt 327, that comes with 3 palettes of parts. But I doubt I'll have the money before it is gone.

I found a 68 for $1,500 that needed a small bit of work and a tranny. I called 2 hours after it was put on craigslist, but it was already gone.

I have too many interests. Guitar, surfing, cars, and many other things. But that's how I stay happy. Trying to do too many things at once.

Welcome to TC Andy you are right in the same age group of my sons, 16 & 18. They both enjoy working on my 68 with me. Lot's of great Camaro resources in the area so keep looking and you'll find the right one for you.

I'd love to work on cars. I have a 74 super beetle, which isn't a bad car to learn on, I need to find some time to do some stuff on it with my Dad soon.

If my Dad had a Camaro, I'd be asking to take my girlfriend out in it A LOT.

I'd be waxing that thing every weekend. Haha.

My Dad's "camaro" is a cessna. He actually flew out to Gilroy a few years back with my mom and sister for the garlic festival.

This:

Is the kind of thing I'd go for. I don't have the money, but I'll start saving once I finish paying of a this guitar.

Seems like a good deal. I would find a manual 4 speed transmission to put in it though.

Its been on there awhile though, so probably something wrong with it.

Andy
