looking forward to sharing information

Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum and joined up as I wanted to share the experience of all my upgrades with everyone out there. I'm going to try to put out some information and pictures that I wish I had seen before starting this project. I started fixing my 69 back in 2000 when I was 14. I call it a rescue since it had been sitting in a field for 10 years, and well, it was more rust than it was car (a tree had even grown around the bumper it had been there so long). It started as a father son project for the first two years and then I ran out of money. So after some 10 years of working after school jobs and a 5 year tour of duty in the service I'd saved enough to finish it. I'm planning on upgrading a lot of features (brakes, steering, suspension, wiring, rear end etc.) on the car over the next couple of months and I'll try to put up some pictures and notes that will hopefully help others out there like myself that are just novice mechanics dreaming of owning a hotrod. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions along the way too and I can't wait to see what kind of support I can get from this community.
