Hello to all, I am new to this site. I have seen this site all over the net. I have been here but never joined. I have a 69 camaro and is a numbers matching car, nothing super just has a tilt wheel and console shift with a 350 cid and turbo 350 trans. it only has I think 106.000 miles on the car, little rust for the age. i am making it a RS car. Just cant make up my mind
what color to paint it. Well enough about that. Hope to talk to you all soon, and thank you all for the welcome. Ty1on

Re: Brand New Member

Welcome to the team TY . There,s a good bunch here and solid info that will help you NOT MAKE COSTLY MISTAKES. This is a good place to hang.I like your handle TY1ON unfortunately at my age you get bombed quicker and it takes about 3 days after to weather out the bombing than when i was much younger. Insofar as to the color for your car MARINA BLUE or a similar variance does it for me,ultimately the choice is really what makes you happy. They always say it,s best to keep it original especially if it,s a #,s matching or a rare car and they are right for resale value and historical purposes. Ultimately TY you are the one who has to look at it and like what you see . GOOD LUCK in your choice. ALEX

Re: Brand New Member

Hello and thank you ss27 for fast reply, and dont let the handle fool you, I am also past the hang over days, lol. Iam a old fart that loves GM cars and working on them. The blue you talked about could be an option. I am taking out the originnal motor and trans so when I sell it long way down the road it could ba a selling point. Thank you again ss27

Re: Brand New Member

Go to Google Images and look at some cars that are nice in your original color. They usually look pretty good. My car is Frost Green (59 59). Not a real popular color, but that is what it's getting painted when it comes time. Big difference in how they look with new shiny paint compared to old, dull paint. Might just help you make a decision.

Experience...... It's what you get when you didn't get what you wanted.
