New(?) here from Central Coast California

Howdy all from Paso Robles...

It looks like I signed up here a couple years ago, but never posted. Actually, I think I signed up longer ago...maybe before the board reformatted...?

Anyways, I'm sure a few will recognize my screen name from other sites. I have had my Camaro since I was 16. I also have a 57 Chevy sedan, a 56 F100, and a 68 GMC. Theyre all 'pieces of something'...

This pic is from a few years ago...right now the car is in the body shop getting some copper-orange paint sprayed on.

So, I'm intending to lurk around a little more now.

Mike

The Camaro will truly be a life long project. Right now it's got a 355 with mild cam, forged bottom end and Dart alum heads. I have a T56 behind that with a 3.73 posi.
I have a Procharger waiting in the rafters as well (just a lil p600). At some point I'd like to go the LSx route...but things like that will wait til the other projects are done or close. I'm also planning on addressing some bigger brakes, A/C, power windows, etc. in time.

Ha! I took a look at that thread...that guy is a coworker of mine.

What part of SoCal? I lived in Ventura county for a while and grew up in Orange Co.

Re: New(?) here from Central Coast California

The color I'm going with is the early 2000s Dodge tangerine pearl, or copper orange. I'll also be using a semigloss black for the stripe and tail light panel. (no, not a BBC).

I've had a hell of a time getting pics that really showed the color... this is more or less it:

Here's a shot of the 'shop' believe me... it hasn't been this 'clean' in some years... That 57 has become quite a shelf.
