Just getting started

Hello.
Just purchased a 1968 coupe, 327, power glide pretty much all stock. A little over 80,000 miles on odometer , but we all know how those are. Numbers matching, and there in lies my dilemma. Im not sure which direction to take it. I wanted to go retro-mod but a buddy of mine says I shouldn't do anything that I can't undo , because of the numbers matching, not to screw something up that could be special. I have no idea what to do. Any ideas?

Re: Just getting started

GM made it the way they wanted. Now it's your turn. Unless it is a COPO, X code, or Z/28, I would not have any problem of putting in whatever I wanted. You can always keep the original block and transmission, and charge to put it back in when you sell it. It is really that simple.

Welcome, Larry.
Always a tough decision.
Correct year and reads like a nice looking Camaro.

Re: Just getting started

Thanks guys. That's what I thought. Even though I love the stock Camaros, what's the point in owning and driving one if I don't make it "mine". Thanks for the feed back and the welcomes.
