It's in the blood

Hi all, wanted to introduce my self, I'm Bill a North Texan avid race fan and even bigger car enthusiast. I'm Chevy through and through, daily driver is an 07 Avalanche. I've got a divided family (some were lifers at ford factories!) Currently looking to get into a 67-69 pro-touring Camaro (I wish I had the stomach for a resto). It's come time to have something I love in the garage again, the big beast... well she's lovable but.. she's.... not that purdy. Been around racing, mainly indy car racing my entire life. Next May should be about my 18th 500. Have a huge passion for all things automotive. As of the last 4-5 years it's specifically been prancing horse's as there are a few in my immediate family, had an opportunity to take a tour in maranello/modena on the production floor 1.5 years ago. Father used to tell me stories of his 68 Camaro and 69 Firebird and dragging it in small town Indiana. Those stories including him selling his early 70's vette to put a ring on my mothers finger have me striving to bring one of cars back in the family.

In general I enjoy motorsports, motoroil, and gearheads. Appologies in advance if I ask a few stupid questions here and there.
