TY, Welcome to Team Camaro, if you have alot of questions about your ride, you have come to the right site. As you know there are Camaro Owners from all over the World ! Please post some pictures of your 69 Camaro Convertible, I also have a 69 drop top which is Hugger Orange with White Stripes and White Interior/Top, does not have all the options you say that are on your ride......Max in Las Vegas, NV My suggestion to youo is to put as much insurance coverage that you can afford on it, never know what can happen until it is too late, if you send me a private message, would like to tell you who I have 4 of my vehicles insured with,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Welcome to Team Camaro TY.

I started with a stripped '69 in 2004. It was a lot of fun (and work) to build but you can build what you want and you'll know what's in it.

Welcome Ty. Most times a stripped down shell is the better starting point in a restoration project. No mystery no wtf moments. What you see is what you got. Have at it and have fun with it. Post your progress.

Yep.

This is what I started with 04/01/2012. It did come with new front sheet metal and hood. No Drivetrain, No Subframe or Rear Suspension Just a good solid rust free body.

Here is my build thread. Scheduled to have if finished in 2-3 months max.

So far it is fun. I just finished painting the frame and waiting for parts to put it back together for the painter.
