Hello everyone........

Hello everyone, My name is Bill and I live in Sparks, Nevada, I have a 1972 Camaro with a 468 big block, It is green and I am planning on painting it next summer.
The motor is a 4 bolt 454 bored .060 over and has a Comp Cams Retro fit Muther Thumper Hydraulic roller cam and lifters. It has an old school Hurst V-Gate shifter which I like, It is a pain on the street, But fun.
I hope to be active within the forum, I am somewhat knowledgeable (Is that a word?) when it comes to Camaro's and C5 Corvettes.
Here is a short video and a few pictures of my ride.
Thanks.
Mr.Bill

Welcome Bill, love the car, was that the factory color? I'm not a fan of green (even though both of mine are factory green) but I like yours.

Re: Hello everyone........

Welcome Bill! I too am the owner of a 2nd gen mine is a 70 s/s . Yours is a real nice car and sounds good too. I have to tell you green is not one of my favorites either. The only greens i even consider are the real dark ones with a lot of metalic sparkle flakes in them and most are not G/M colors .Unfortunately the second gens had 3or4 greens none of them very appealing . Come to think of it some of the golds arent too apealing either and the one i hate the most is that Castillian bronze wich looks like rust to me . That was the original color of mine and i painted it black shortly after i bought it 39 yrs ago.The next time it will be blue and that,s in the near future. Alex

Hey, welcome to the TC Crew, Mr. Bill. Great car, and the colour is unique.

A question came up dealing with US brake part/rebuilds... and was wondering if there still is an excellent brake company in Sparks. I sent for and received a master from the company and was happy with the product. Is this place still there and the name of it?

Thank You Sir, I haven't a clue what the company's name is, I know there are a few that have been here for years.
Sorry.

Welcome Mr. Bill. Seeing your 2nd gen makes me miss mine more... Looks good. Lucky you, you're right there by the Summit Racing store!

I work in health care and have been in that Lakes Crossing facility a few times (for work, I swear) - freaky scary.
