Very helpful...

Hi, My name is Skuli and I live in Iceland. Just finished a restoration on my 68 Camaro and found the side very helpful.

Great looking car, and stunning country, Skuli - and welcome aboard
Do you know any of your car's history? Just wondered if it was brought in by someone serving at Keflavik AFB?

1969 04A Van Nuys-built Z/28. Cortez Silver with dark blue interior and VE3. Sold Clippinger Chevrolet. Raced at Lions in LA.

Re: Very helpful...

Thank you guy´s. This car was bought in US October 2010. Turn out to be a quick slam heap. Nothing else to do than rebuild it. The whole story is on youtube, under my name; Skuli K. Skulason. Five videos from the beginning to the end. They are all named; Camaro 68 Restoration Part (from 1-5) and Iceland in brackets.

Great job on everything....picking a 68, restoring, and the video
No traffic, winding roads, and beautiful countryside view.

WOW Skuli...awesome job and the car and the video... pretty barren landscape up there but there must be at least a week or two with no snow

Re: Very helpful...

Yeah, we do have few days without snow. :-) The roads are very nice for cars like these and the traffic is low. We do have a lot of American muscle cars over here, and many of them are like the day they were build. We used to have a large naval base in Keflavik, and many of the cars came through the base, but were sold through a special department on auctions.

Welcome to Team Camaro Skuli..... we have a few customers that live in Iceland. We have one particular customer who comes to visit us when he vacations here in Florida. He looks like a Viking and is huge!

Let us know if you want to get rid of that body roll around the corners!

Re: Very helpful...

Hey Skuli, welcome to TC and thanks for posting such a great video of your 68. I even checked out all 5 of your Youtube videos and they were all very well done as well...just like your Camaro. You are right it went from a nigthmare to a fairy tale. I especially like the part where you pulled the car out of your garage with the passenger doors off. The smile on you face said it all. ENJOY
