Hello Everyone

Hello I am Tony. I got a 69 Camaro Coupe that my dad recently gave me after it has been sitting for years rusting away after he started it and never finished and left it outside in the weather for about 7 years. Been searching around for info on replacing certain panels and came across this forum and saw it was pretty active so thought I sign up.

Here is how I got it:

Tony, welcome aboard - looks fairly solid so far..... How bad is the rust?
What are you planning for the car?

Over all the tub is pretty solid. got a lot of rust in the cowl, trunk pan, Quarters, rear window area, and front fenders. I will be starting a project thread soon and you can see all the pics of it I have taken already.

I plan to keep it pretty original on the inside and outside. As for the engine I am thinking of going with an LSx engine and upgrade the brakes and suspension. The more I get into it I am finding out it may have been a number matching car before my dad took it apart. I think I may still have the block for it to see the numbers on it.

Re: Hello Everyone

Tony welcome... one thing you can do is reduce your photos to around 880x660 so they fit in the sites screen without having to scroll up and down or side to side.
Looks like you guys have an ambitious project there. Good luck

Sorry, I did reduce it in size I guess just not enough. I run a high resolution on my pc so they don't seem to large to me. Thanks
