Hello! First Project!

Hi! I am a teenage muscle car enthusiast working on my first build, a '67 Camaro RS. It's a barn find, and it needs some work. I'm really excited about working on it and I'm hoping you guys can help give me some pointers.

David - Welcome aboard. You are in the right place. How rough is the barn find?

Re: Hello! First Project!

It's a very solid restoration car. Practically rust free, no frame damage, starts up every time and drives well. The paint is shot, the interior is quite sun damaged and ripped, and at some point mice got in there and ate some holes in the seats. Otherwise, it's completely original except for the exhaust and rims; all the original trim and interior pieces are there. More notably it's also got the original 327 V8, 2-speed power glide, hide-away headlight motors, and glass. I've also got a build sheet for it.

I'm not quite sure how to upload pictures, but I'll see if this one comes through and then more will follow.

Re: Hello! First Project!

Thank you to all. Here's a little history of the car. It was found stored away in a garage in Los Angeles, owned by the same owner since 1982. He purchased it from his friend whom was the original owner. It has a 327 V8, power glide tranny, and 10 bolt rear end with drum brakes. Factory color combination is Bolero red with red deluxe interior/black vinyl top. It has spent it's entire life in Los Angeles. I found it on ebay and contacted the buyer by phone and he was willing to take my offer right away, it was then shipped up here to the bay area in CA still.

Re: Hello! First Project!

Very nice, Bolero Red on a '67 RS is a great combo!
