My new ride

Well I am new to the forum in the last few months. Some may remember I had asked about the price of a car a friend was building for me. I took your advise and found this car for a lot less $$. It is a 67 with a 383 stroker 460hp from the engine factory. It has 2000 miles on the engine and Car since a total rotisory resto. It has a muncie 4sp and a 393 rear end. I am working some bugs out but all in all I could not be happier.
Looking forward to learning more about the hobby. Thanks to all that have helped so far.
Oh ya I found it on craigs list in Tampa Fl.
Thanks John

Thanks for the pictures. It looks great; except for that Caution Fan sticker. Yikes! That sticker came on Fords not Chevys. Chevy owners are smart enough not to stick their hand in the fan blade. Ford owners.....

Re: My new ride

Thanks to all for the comments. Everett, checked your flicker. How many dogs do you have? My short hair just died a year ago. He would have loved to ride in the Camaro with nose out the window.

Re: My new ride

Beautiful car!!! Love black with white. There's only one thing I'd change- the ford caution fan sticker.

Re: My new ride

Guys,
Thanks for all the + comments.
I am old and forgetful so the sticker may save my hands someday! If that was the only thing you guys do not like about my car I can live with it.
Thanks for all the help thus far. I love this forum and my new ride.

Re: My new ride

Congrats John!
Love the black and chrome. It reminds me of my '68 and that I haven't had it out in a while.
Hey now, I might be as old as you are and that only says that we used these cars back in the day as transportation and partied in them on weekends!
Yes, I remember five guys stuffed in there with enough room for a couple of sixpacks and a bottle of Jack!

Re: My new ride

Nice 67. What happened to the A/C?

67 Camaro: 454/TH400/4.10 12 bolt. Lots of options: PS/PDB/PW, tilt, tach, gauges and more. K-K + 797-Z...

Re: My new ride

The AC and heater were deleted in the build. I have a classic air system that I am about to install. I talked to march today and I am about to order the drive system I will need to install the AC compressor. If I decide to add PS all I will need to do is add a 2 grove crank pulley. I currently have a march system with serpentine belt using the alt as a belt tightener.

Re: My new ride

Very nice car.....

I gotta ask, what is up with Ocala Florida? My cousin lives down there and my good buddy that just retired from S&W Racecars has a home down there.

Is there something in the water that makes you live longer?
