New Member with Decisions to make

I am new to this forum, and came upon it's existence by searching the web.

My problem is that I have a 57 BelAir that came with a 1967 Z28 engine. I have since started to build a new engine for the 57.

I checked the numbers, and the engine is a 1967 302, with the original heads, harmonic damper retained with a bolt, carburetor and intake manifold. It does not have the original oil pan or distributor. I believe I have the original Muncie 4spd for the engine, but I would have to verify that.

What should I do with the engine? What is it worth? It has not been started in 25 years. Should I look for a 67 Camaro to put it in, or sell it?

Re: New Member with Decisions to make

If you can find the car this belongs to it would be great to match it up. They only sold 607 '67 Z28 cars so it is a rare engine.
Does it have the MO stamping on the front pad?

Yes, it has MO on the pad. The aluminum intake and Holley carb has the divorced choke coil.

If anyone is interested I will get the number and maybe a few pictures and post them.
