Newbie

What's up Camaro Community! I'm a new owner of a 1969 Camaro...it is a whole new world. Fortunately, the previous owner did all the hard work! I waited for several years to find the one I wanted. I didn't realize what a big brotherhood the camaro has entered us into. This is my my father and I's ride. I look forward to gaining some wisdom from this group.

God Bless!

Re: Newbie

Welcome amigo. Who wins the fight when both want to take the car out????

My 69 will be due for a paint job and I have consider getting rid of the stripes and just going with a solid red. After seeing your 69, I think I made up my mind.

What is the story on the engine, etc.

Re: Newbie

The engine is a new 350 crate. It seems to have an upgraded cam, not sure what the numbers on it are yet. Dual flowmaster 40's. I've gone back and forth on what I would do with the paint in the future.

The car still has the vinyl top chrome molding around. But the longer I have it, the more I like the all red. By the way, the hood has flames with a couple ghost skulls! After being stuck in a cubicle for 40-60hrs a week, I love cruising in this on sunny fridays!
