Hey Marcus, welcome! Good choice on the best year for Camaro! Unfortunately site rules prohibit answering any questions until the noob posts pictures of their car.

Just kidding. Use the search window for "rs headlights" or other such strings and you'll find more than you can read in a day. I wasn't kidding about posting pics. We need to SEE!

Cool Re: another 1967 convertible joinig your site

Welcome to Team CAMARO Marcus

And X2 on the pictures thingy

The biggest issue I found on my old 67 RS/SS when they operated 'sluggishly' was making sure the shafts, bushings and pivots were clean and slightly lubed.
Any drag seemed to start issues with their opening/closing sequence and lead to eventual motor/gear failure.

Whatever you do DO NOT TRY TO MOVE OR FORCE THEM once they hang up
If this has happened in the past the gears may be damaged - you can tel because the motor(s) may still be running but the door quiets moving. And until you re-force it closed, and make the switch(es) the motor(s) will continue to run ...

There are now several aftermarket motor assemblies and systems that greatly improve the original 67-only system.

Hope some of this helps!
John

ps: what part of Germany are you in?
Used to work in Switzerland and travel to Germany (both East and West) very often to visit contractors.
