'67 RS Newbie In the House!

Hi all. I've posted a couple times during my trials and tribulations of finding a camaro. I can' t tell you all how many dirt bags there are out there trying to swindle someone out of their money, BUT I finally found a car locally, that didn't have quite all of the options that I thought I wanted, but still blew me away when seeing in person. I got a wild hair, and purchased it within 3 days.

Anyhow, I just picked up the car yesterday. Specs include rebuilt 350 w/new headers/starter (6 months ago), Edelbrock 650 Carb, Muncie 4-speed, power discs, etc. All of the maintenance was very well documented since 2005. Before that, who knows...

Original color is Marina Blue with a black stripe, but is now Black with a white stripe. Panels look very straight and carry the black well, but the paint does have its flaws (minor chips/cracks here and there), so I'm sure that I'll be painting in the future, and might bring it back to the original color. Car runs and shifts excellent.

I'm sure I'll need your guys' help on a couple of things, as I love to do the maintenance myself, or learn in the process. The headlamps work, but the doors don't open. Thinking that its either the relay or motor, but might be just something simple that I'm missing. Going to remove the tach, as it sits on top of the steering column and is a bit unsightly. I like to shift by sound and speedo anyway. There are some electrical issues here and there, mirrors are jacked up, but nothing too daunting.

Just wanted to introduce myself, and look forward to meeting everyone. This weekend, the family is gone to the in-laws, so its man cave time, and I'll be inspecting the car with a fine tooth comb and making my list of short and long term goals.

I've posted a couple of pics for your viewing enjoyment. As soon as I get to take a couple of my own, I'll update.

Thanks and look forward to meeting everyone!
