New to the site

Since I sold my 67 Chevelle SS 5 years ago, I've been dying to buy another hot rod driver.
So last week riding my Harley down the road at St. Augustine beach, I saw a sweet 67 Camaro RS on the side of the road for sale.

Now it's in my driveway! Man o man, talk about a kid with a new toy.

It's in excellent shape, all numbers matching, 327, automatic. Gold with black vinyl top.

I joined this forum to research and learn from you veterans on furthering the tweaks with my new hot rod. First of all it needs new headers. The Hookers on it now are starting to pit and develop rust. Any ideas or suggestions would be great. So now on with searching the forums

Thanks, Dan

Hey Dan and welcome! All good info here and great people I had the summit 1-5/8 ceramic coated headers on my old 327 with power steeering and had no fit issues and still looked good when I sold em.

Summit headers

Thanks Mark for the feedback on the Summit Headers. I don't have AC but I do have power steering and am contemplating changing out my old Hooker headers in the driveway. Of course up on ramps but would you advise me to spend the extra $250 and have the race shop put the new ones in? Nothing is welded underneath.

Re: New to the site

Do it yourself. Save the 250 for beer and gofast parts!

Re: New to the site

Thousand thanks Everett. In one day I got some great tips. Will be upgrading my subscription soon.

Just curious, how do I rotate my car pic? It's sideways?

Thanks
Dan
