New member from London, England

Hi, after looking at this forum for tech help I thought it was high time I joined.
As the title says, from London, England. Got a 67 Camaro, 327 hardtop and I absolutely love it.
Restored it over the last 3 to 4 years in between everything else in life throws up.
Went to paint about 4 months ago and was flat out since putting it back together Took it to its first car show last week, ran like a dream.
Changed the gearbox for a 5 speed Wc from a 3 speed, 8 dollars plus a gallon here.

Cruising around London in the Camaro, life don,t. Get better than that.
The noise, the driving experience is the best. All the hard work, blood sweat and tears was worth every second.

Looking forward to putting some miles on it now before winter
Cheers
John

Re: New member from London, England

Left hand drive, as Chevrolet intended. I have tried to keep stock apart from the gearbox, oh and the engine.
MSD ignition, Holley carb, hooker headers, single wire alternator, three angle valve job, yella terra roller rockers, polished and ported fueli heads with 2.02 -1.60 big valves.
11-1 + 30 forged pistons, speed pro moly rings.
Small journal steel crank, balanced and tuftrided.
Hypo 327 small journal rods, shot peened, resized and balanced.

Crane cam, 536/554 lift 290/296 duration and Crane mechanical lifters.
TRw high volume oil pump.

Cloyes tru roller timing set.

Plus loads of other parts, should go well.

Will work out how to post a photo
Cheers

Welcome, John. You've come to the right place for anything Camaro related.
