Tilted fuel pressure regulator

Hey guys, I'm currently dry fitting my new intake and carb setup on the bench and I'm into the plumbing. In making the hoses I am running into a prob. My fuel pressur regulator takes the feed through the bottom and I can't squeeze a fitting in as it will hit the manifold. If I tilt the regulator a bit on the fitting, it'll fit.
Now my question is...Does it affect the feed/pressure if I do this? Its a Holley, 1-9 psi coming from a mechanical pump.
Thanks in advance

Re: Tilted fuel pressure regulator

Orientation of the fuel pressure regulator should not effect functionality at all. Your other option is to use a 90 degree fitting coming up into the bottom of the regulator.
