new member from mchenry IL

hi all I have a 67 that i have been working on for 8 years. almost done does any one know if i go from a 255/60/15 to a 272/60/15 will it lower my RPMs and how much. thanks for the help.

255/60/15 = 27.05 diameter

275/60/15 = 27.99 diameter

275/60/15 is 3% larger in diameter so it will reduce your RPM's by 3%. If you are now running 2,500 RPM at 55 mph you will reduce to 2,450 RPM. Not much difference.

(I went with 275/60/15 because I didn't see 272/60/15 listed)
