69 Camaro in VA

Just bought a Gold 69 camaro. Originally a 307, last owner replaced that with a Goodwrench 350, Hecho in Mexico. With headers and the Borla Dual exhaust it runs great and sounds amazing.

Replaced some worn brown with new black carpet. Big things I'm looking at...1) Finding 12 bolt to rebuild. 2) When that is complete and i'm making the 10 to 12 switch looking at the Hotchkis 3" drop. 3) All roads are currently leading to a 383. Looking at the Chevy zz 383 or an ATK and a Transmission to match. 4) New Paint

This is a pretty far outlook. I'm taking it slow...don't plan on getting rid of it, ever.

Re: 69 Camaro in VA

Welcome Mike. Also for your consideration: an LS1 with a T56 to mate up to the 12 bolt! Great bang for the buck.

Welcome, Mike
Congrats on the purchase, enjoy her as you intend.
Good plan, and as suggested, might save your nickels and dinmes for the LS conversion.
However, the present set-up would improve with an EFI change.
You could get a complete TBI system from most any '88-'92 GMC/Chev truck/van or car maybe. Or get an aftermarket unit and let it learn as OEM does also.
EFI improves driveabilty.
