Utah Checking in..........Finally

My wife thinks it's a midlife crisis. Me? I'm just finally getting off my butt and getting a car that I've wanted my whole life. I will hit 40 this year and it has finally happened. Picked me up a 68 in march. I've been keeping my eyes open for a long long time and I've been lurking here for quite a few years. Finally decided the time was right and just did it. It's a great start. Not exactly how I want it but then again it's all about the journey right? Now that I actually have something to work on I will finally be posting and getting the help I will need. Thanks for all the info you all have already posted here. I look forward to picking your brains.

Welcome Jed. Well if the average human is expected to live to 100 you're safe on the mid life crisis label for another 10 years.

Re: Utah Checking in..........Finally

Not gonna pretend to know everything you all are asking but I'll do my best to answer. A lot of what I have was from the PO that rebuilt her in 95. It's got a few more leaks than I like to see so I'll be cleaning things up and when I do I'll know exactly what's under the hood. As of now what I was told is it's a 355, Muncie m21 four speed, 3.73 posi. I know I probably missed something there so just ask away and I'll do my best to answer.

I noticed that too. Been trying to figure out the story on those. I'm still learning a lot. One of the main reasons I'm here.

No idea what TT is but I know the paint isn't original. Original was Butternut Yellow.

No midlife crisis here but if the wife thinks so and that's what it takes for me to get the car I've always wanted to work on then by all means it looks like I will just agree with here.

Welcome to the addiction!

Unless I miss my guess, TT = Tripoli Turquoise (which I also guessed was the color), a far better color than Butter(my)nut(s) Yellow...

67 Camaro: 454/TH400/4.10 12 bolt. Lots of options: PS/PDB/PW, tilt, tach, gauges and more. K-K + 797-Z...
