Welcome you have a nice car. Just make sure in the future you spell Camaro correctly.
It is a long standing joke here! (CAMERO). Looks like a cool car. A lot of guys here are doing that engine swap.

I have owned 3 69 Z/28s: Garnet Red 30,000 mi unrestored.
Glacier Blue, documented Canadian Z

Re: 67 Camaro

You can mount the ECM anywhere you want. The question is if you are using the harness you already have will the wires reach.

I have 69 LS7/T56. My ECM is mount behind the high to the right of the gauge cluster. My fuse box is mounted in front of a custom center console.

Looks great. down side is you have to pull the cluster to access it.

On our other LS 1st Gens we have mounted the ECM and fuse box in the engine bay.

A couple places make brackets for the ECM the rest of the install usually requires some fab work.

Re: 67 Camaro

Lol…Thanks for looking out. i was thinking about pulling the heater-vent window defroster plastic housing and mounting it above the heater box . its a job extending the engine harness. down the road vintage air will come so kinda looking for options.

Re: 67 Camaro

My swap is almost complete, and the shop fabbed a bracket for a nice spot near the battery. Probably will never need to get to the PCM, but if so just need to pull the battery. Here's a pic:

Chris - You can not link to an attached photo in your Gmail account. You have to save the attachment and then upload here, or save it on a public share service and use the img tags to that location here in your post. I'm sure more than just I want to see your solution.
