Hello from Northern Colorado

Hey Guys,

I have been reading the forums for the past few months and finally decided to jump in! My little brother and I have been talking for the past few years about building a car. We've had enough talking and now want to start moving forward and get the project started! I'm hooked on building a first generation camaro, preferably 68 or 69, with an ls swap.

We are just in the beginning process of finding the car. We definitely want a car that has some work that needs to be done so we can make it our own. We will probably be searching the Southwest to avoid any rust buckets. Any advice will be well received!

Hey_____ Welcome aboard TC Maybe you can update your profile with a first name?

What is your budget for a roller or do you want something that is drivable for now with the swap coming down the road? That way you can have a little fun with her before the transplant while you work on other upgrades.

Re: Hello from Northern Colorado

It's a toss up right now when deciding whether to just get a roller or something that is drivable. Im thinking just about just getting a roller so I can put more money towards the ls. Im planning on around $5k for a roller since I dont want just the empty shell. I would like to keep as much as I can original besides whats under the hood.
