New Guy

Hello from the Tarheel State to all. First of all I just want to say thanks to my brother-n-law which is actually on here as Smitty68 for helping me get to the point that I am now. I guess I can say that it took me and him around 6 months to find the perfect car for me. you see I am in the Military stationed at Fort Bragg, NC but my heart belongs to the great state of Alabama. With me being in the Army I could just get a car that needed a complete resto, I mainly wanted a driver for the weekends. Between him and myself we looked allover the southeast for the perfect car. When we both agreed on a car to go look at it was either sold or in the process of being sold. But finaly we both found the same car at the same time one night while looking online and the icing on the cake is it was only 2 hrs from where he lives. He went to go look at it one weekend for me to make sure it was what I was looking for and luckly it was and come to find out it was a true 68 SS car. So the next week I took leave from work and made a trip down to go buy the car. When we pulled up to get the car it was at the owners used car lot and there were several people around checking it out, well long story short I bought the car. But anyway thats the story on how I ended up with what I think will be a nice driver one day when I get it done. So here are some pics from start to where I am currently now. Its nowhere near the build as some of the ones I have seen on here. And thanks for looking

Re: New Guy

Welcome, Jeremy, and a hearty "Thank you" to you and your family for serving.

Correct year and a Nice Camaro you & Jonathon researched and you bought.
Enjoy the journey with her.
Maybe sometime in the future, the rear side markers 'might' go back in.
Maybe not, less weight if left out.

Give a man a rescued dog for the health of both their souls. May 2017 ROTM Winner - Thank you!
