hello

Hello all,
I am new here, but not to Camaro's, or other Classic and Muscle cars. I currently work as a Collision tech, and have worked as a Restoration tech / foreman in a Corvette Restoration shop for almost 30 years all together. I started out as a GM trained mechanic in the mid 70's after vocational school. I spent 8 years on active duty in the Army and another 27 in the reserves. I am married with 5 kids, 2 still at home 1 in college. My long term project is a 73 Z/28 RS , it is a long way from done due to raising the aforementioned kids and setbacks along the way. I hope to really get moving on it this winter.

Re: hello

Welcome, and good luck getting on that project, Mark. Raising a family is more important than a car. Sounds like you are finally in a position to get going on it.

Experience...... It's what you get when you didn't get what you wanted.

We really should have a little gathering sometime for those of us local to the area. There's several within an hour or two. I seem to be centered here in Fredneck so maybe I can pick a spot. I have a friend with a brewery (actually come to think of it three friends with 3 breweries) that I'm sure would be glad to host. Two of the three place serve good food too. The third is a farm where he grows his own barley and hops.

...or maybe a Camaro wine tour in the spring? It's good to get the wives involved, right?
