New guy in Texas

I have been reading this site for a little over two years when I bought 68 Camaro that was in pretty bad shape. After two years of work, I finally finished the car over the summer.

This site really helped me out of some jams when I had no idea how to do something. The information is priceless for anyone who is rebuilding a car when you have never done it before.

Thanks to everyone who posts on this site. I really appreciate it!

Now I need to figure out how to post pictures.

Try using www.imgur.com to upload pics. You can then either give the link or use the picture button. Looks like a box with a yellow sky, mountains and a sun just above where you type messages here. Between the quote and link buttons.

Re: New guy in Texas

It was quite the undertaking. No way I could have done it without my dad. He is now 72 years old. He was a car painter his whole life so I was fortunate enough to have him do all the paint and body. We had to do a ton of patch panels, firewall, floor pans etc.. I am happy with the way it turned out. I still have a lot to do but I just wanted to drive it some before winter. Pictures to follow.
