HI from AK

Well I am new to this site. I am currently bringing my 69 ss camaro back to life. I bought it in 1996 and drove it untill I blew it up for the last time in 2001. I tore it apart for a quick paint and repower. Body man blues and life got in the way and the project is finally back on track. I have a shed full of parts and UPS brings me the rest. I have the body back together and in primer. I am currently assembling the mechanical systems so I can get it back to the body man for paint.

I have a question now and sure there will be more. Where does this go?

Welcome, Lyle.
Enjoy the new journey.
As far as the part shown, don't have a clue.

I don't remember seeing anything like this on my 69 and I have done 2 frame ups on the car over the years...

Lyle welcome. The part question, was the smaller end the part that was straight?

Re: HI from AK

Yes the smaller end was straight and it has barbs on the end like a plug wire seperator. It is oily and looks like it was bolted to a machined surface. I guess I could go through my whole assembly book page by page. I already went through the CI cataloug with no luck yet. Here is another pic.
