1970 LT1 fitted block

Hi, I'm new here but have read your posts from time to time. Bought 1968 base Camaro coupe. Will do the build near future. I have what is called a fitted block LT1 that I purchased from a Chevrolet dealer in 1976. Since then have purchased stock manifold correct carb. My question is will I have enough clearance with the flat hood.

Thanks Lynn, I also have Victor JR model 2975 with a Quick Fuel 680 vac sec. Would you know if there would be enough clearance with original LT1 air filter under the flat hood.

Never used a Victor Jr., but once you have the heads on the engine, mock it up both ways without gaskets, etc. and take some measurements.

A friend of mine has a 70 Z28 with a Victor Jr with a stock hood if that helps.
