I've been slowly working on my 67 Camaro rs/ss for the last close to 10 years. It wasn't running when I bought it and had a seized 327 in it. They were parting it out and sold off the air conditioning before i got it. It has been though many many owners, none of them doing her any favors! Everything was a mess, but the bones are there and ive been slowly trying to fix up and restore piece by piece. Occasionally myself not doing her any favors either if you read my electrical post. ugh!
Anyhow, it's a project for sure. just now getting it good enough to be "road worthy" and be fairly confident ill make it back home and not have enough wrong with it to be bugging the coppers (i now have a new feature called working tail lights
zz4 350, muncie 4spd, just ported and replaced valves on old heads, moly rods, new lifters, new cam, protonix elec ign, edel intake, holley street avg 750. 4 wheel disk. I rewired the whole thing, nearly making it inoperable
ill need a lot of help in the wiring/elec dept! its not fast or fancy, but its mine and starts every time
I used to want to just go fast, and that would be great, but now that i have a little guy, just cruising on a sumer night is all right with me! someday ill get her a new coat of paint (or would love to learn and do that myself too)
Have used the site many times in the past to figure out little issues and thought it was about time to join- make some new buds.
