Hello from New England

Joined to bone up on Camaros, it's been a while since I had a Chevy, right now driving a Ford SVT Lightning that I've decided to sell. So the next ride will be either a Camaro or Mustang circa '66-'69. Have had four Corvettes over the years (57-64-69-99) going to be looking for a nice cruiser, not interested in numbers matching, just turn-key, sharp looking, dependable ride, probably automatic but if the right stick car comes along... I'm ok with that.

Re: Hello from New England

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I have a question and I don't know exactly where to post it, so I'll ask it here and maybe some long term members can advise me.

So I've got the Lightning listed on CL as of a couple days ago. I also have it listed over at LightningRodder.com where I've been a pretty active member for several years. As you guys know, my goal is to be driving a 60's Camaro or maybe Mustang LOL as my next ride. I'm 72 and a unabashed old skool hot rodder.

The question is would it be inappropriate to advertise the Lightning here on this forum to see if maybe there's somebody who might be tickled to own a pretty special SVT Lightning but hadn't thought about it until they saw a picture or read an ad? Or maybe somebody has a Camaro of equal value that might work as a trade? I wouldn't do this without "approval". But for kicks I'll attach a teaser picture. The truck isn't a racer, it's never been on a track. It's a cruiser and show winner, has won 1st place finishes and Best in Show in the Truck categories. With the combination of Belltech, GroundForce, Strange, and Hotchkis TVS suspension components it's also a great driver. Well, tell me what to do, OK?

Thanks in advance... Mike
