New member from Pasadena, Ca

Hi folks,
I have a 68 coupe. My story may be a bit different from what's typical for this forum (or maybe not so much different!) -- I bought the car from the original owner in 1996 as a father/son project. Wanted to be able to teach my 15 year old son some auto basics. We worked on it for about a year & then he lost interest. I worked on it sporadically, but the career/family/home projects soon pushed my Camaro into the background. It's been in the garage in various stages of disassembly all this time. I finally retired a few months ago & have vowed to get back to restoring it. Looking forward to participating in this forum.

Hey Bob - Welcome to TC. Well your situation is one many members can relate to. But there is almost always a happy ending to many a stalled project. Dig in and start a build project thread in that section of the site to document your progress and keep you motivated, and maybe your son will also get pulled back in to the project.

Talking New member from Norway

Hi
I am a Norwegian novice when it comes to amcar . I am 66 mod, married for 20 years and have five sons. jobs graphic printing, same job all the time , over 30 years. having previously only had mb sl veterans, but parts become harder and harder and find, and prices are high. in addition, it is confined to repair of the engine takes up the whole space . but with a strong $ is expensive to buy parts from usa when delivery to Norway often cost more than the parts. a front spoiler costs $ 130 to buy and $ 110 to send. so come tax plus 25% which is about $ 32 and immediately becomes the total price $ 270 . it is sick .. but I knew it beforehand , so I went in with open eyes. hehe
Well, I think that was all. if you have any questions then just ask

kind regards
Roger Olsen
