Hello all

I am a newbie here even though I realized while signing up today that I had done so at some point in the past also. Shows what age does to the mind. I have a 67 that I acquired in January of 69 and has been hanging around ever since, neglected but not exactly forgotten. It sits, disassembled, a few yards from where I am sitting, since 84. In 04, I showed a little interest, Hotchkissed the subframe, got completely frustrated by what was available in options for the back end at the time, that suited me, and decided that it would be more fun to play with Harley's. Another decade has passed, my kids bug me about it on occasion, a cat sleeps in it, my wife wants me to stop falling off the bike, and I have to sign up for Medicare so I really ought to get to it. Today I have half an idea where I want to go with it. I picked up a set of mini tubs and frame ties a couple years back while passing through NC after picking up some wine cases in Asheville. The cat doesn't seem to mind sleeping on them but I ought to get them out of her way. I need to accept how much money I need to sink into it and answer some power plant questions to myself and get moving. This site seems like a good place to lurk and learn. Thanks in advance.

Steve

Re: Hello all

Pictures huh? I guess this is where the walk of shame starts.........
Body work,...yeah. I need front end sheet metal, a partial trunk floor repair, and a floor pan repair. It's not rusted but it has one hell of a cut out in it. I did it back in the day to get a super shifter and it's 3/4 rod to clear. Something to think about because I might want to put that back in......part of the puzzle. I should note that I had the quarters and back panel replaced in 72 because the were hopelessly cancered. In 72 among other things you couldn't get a panel with the reverse light holes in it. You either had to hack them in or do without so I need to replace that panel again.

Re: Hello all

Ok Doug, if this works you will get a sense of what I have. 2 car garage, half is mine...kinda...I get the pile too. I didn't make a good effort at uncovering it. Its a gutted body with a decade old redone subframe, stuff on it and in it though the in it pictures wont make this round,
