Hi,

My name is Colby and I'm one of the techs over at Hurst Driveline Conversions. I am also a big hot rod enthusiast and love being involved in the R&D of new products. I look forward to hearing feedback from our customers that are here on the forum as well as suggestions for new products that you would like to see us work on. I am always available to provide tech info or answer any questions that you may have about 5 or 6-speed Tremec transmission swaps or any HDC products. Feel free to shoot me a PM or give me a call at 707-535-3030 ext. 651.

Re: Hi from [email protected]

Welcome Colby! One of these years I will be ready for a GM tremec in my 51 Chevy 3100. I will need to know if the shifter location can be moved around. The 51's bench seat location might put the shifter location (in the pics) too far back. Might need something in the front or mid location.

Hi,
We can definitely get the correct kit for that car. We offer a Mid-shifter that will move the shifter forward on the transmission that will give you the clearance that you need for the bench seat. Feel free to give me a call if you have any questions on the transmission @707-535-3030 ext.651.

Thank you.
